Grocery carts are supposed to ease the discomfort in shopping. You can just plop everything you need and head right down the cashier’s lane to pay. Grocery carts do not just seem to accommodate the foods and other household stuff, but also your child as well. The grocery is paradise to kids. They love to throw in basically everything within arms reach. Parents feel blessed that grocery carts not only help them carry their purchases but restrain their children as well.

“Stop, look, and listen.” This song and the numerous other street safety songs are not just created to teach babies their first actions songs. These are basically taught to introduce to children the basic concepts of child safety in crossing streets. Of course, these songs will not be effective at all if parents will not teach their children how to apply the songs in real life.

With the alarming statistics of child abduction and the much-publicized media reports on those cases, children’s safety has become the prime focus of families everywhere. Children have been taught to remember the phrase “stranger danger”, but over the years, use of the phrase has been the center of controversy. Some parties believe that it is not effective in bringing down the number of child abductions at all. They further say that children are misled to believe that all strangers mean harm to them when in fact, most abduction cases are those perpetrated by people whom the children know or are familiar with. No wonder some parents resort to putting their children on leashes when they go out. They are not exactly the ones we normally use on our pets. Try tying the leash on your kid’s neck and you’ll have the social welfare banging on your door. There are actually those that are attached to a child’s wrist to ensure that he doesn’t get too far away from mommy.

Car rides need not be a frightening experience for children. The child safety LATCH system reduces the risks of injury caused by car accidents. This system has been found out to eradicate about 50% of the improper installation associated with child safety car seats.
